Global Dressage Forum presents Hinnemann and Van Baalen

Johann Hinnemann and Coby van Baalen will present a clinic during the 7th Global Dressage Forum, on 29-30 October. They will illustrate the education from pony rider to Grand Prix rider, by demonstrating the training of riders and horses on different levels. With several pupils they will show the systematic steps that must be taken to be successful.

In 1988 Johann Hinnemann stepped onto the German dressage stage with a very special horse,  Ideaal. This Dutch bred Trakehner carried him to international fame. At the World Championships in Toronto, Canada, Johann Hinnemann and Ideaal won gold for the German team and bronze in the individual placements. A year later this success was repeated at the European Championships for Dressage at Goodwood, England - team and individual. Hinnemann is now a very successful trainer. In the past he has been national trainer of Canada and Germany.

Coby van Baalen has a longstanding co-operation with Johann Hinnemann. Coby’s most successful Horse to date has been Ferro. Together they won many Grand Prix and several World Cup competitions, winning also a silver team medal and 5th individual place at the Olympic Games in Sydney and also receiving a silver team medal at the World Equestrian Games in Rome, where they finished 6th individually. Currently dressage stables Van Baalen has  students from every A level in the Netherlands under the watchful eye and expert training of both Coby and her daughter Marlies or cousin Marrigje van Baalen, who themselves have won numerous international medals.

After their clinic Johann Hinnemann and Coby van Baalen will react on some recent press publications.
