Introduction
Ada Wouters

This Flexchair is obviously a wonderful assistant to make stability-, posture- and moving problems in lowerback and pelvic visually clear. This special chair has 2 different 3 -dimensional moving systems. The movement of the chair is connected with a software program. And this program has been able to embody measure- en training results in an online database. With this measurements we can make a personal educational training program.

Can people buy a Flexchair included the software program and train by themselves? No, you need the professional physical therapist and horse trainer to give the right instructions. And yes, you can buy a Flexchair without a software program. And why is this way of examination, training and assessment in our believe one step forward? If you get aware, where your body doesn’t function, and the experts can let you feel and see why you are compensating instead of moving efficient, you will start to understand the link between your posture and way of movement and the horse riding problems.

Ada Wouters and her assistant Saskia Heijkants trained a lot of riders on the Flexchair. Since a year over one hundred pupils at Academy Bartels have been introduced to the Flexchair. Often it was quite confronting for a rider to watch the first results. But the trainers are now convinced that the Flexchair is a very useful technical assistant in the world of horse riding. They like to give you a short impression in a practical demonstration at the Global Dressage Forum.
