International Dressage Trainer Club (IDTC)

The IDTC represents the interests of the international trainers towards the Federation Equestre International (FEI). The FEI has officially recognized the IDTC, and the Club is regularly invited for hearings by the Dressage Committee of the FEI. The IDTC also wants to maintain the classical principles of the sport and to improve the level of training all over the world. The IDTC was founded by the late Herman Duckeck from Denmark. Herman's wife Wiltrud has been the secretary of the club since the beginning.

Since 2001 Herman Duckeck' s successor as President of the IDTC was Mr. Sjef Janssen from Erp (Nl), who was succeeded in October 2002 by David Hunt. Board members are: Mr. David Hunt (Gbr), President, Mr. Johann Hinnemann (Ger), Mr. Henk van Bergen (Nl), Wolfgang Wittig (Ger), Mr. Sjef Janssen (Nl).
